Brooks I.D. Program

THE ROAD TO BOYLSTON…
Many of you plan to run this year’s Boston Marathon, and whether
it’s your first trip or your 30th, it’s an unforgettable
experience!  If Bean-Town is a part of your plans next week,
be sure to stop by and say hello to your favorite cheerleader,
Brooks…and if you survive the race, stop by and hang with us from
2:30 - 4:30PM at King’s Bowling (www.backbaykings.com).

Happy Running,

Steve

CARLSBAD or CARLSGOOD?

Okay, sorry for the bad pun.  I met over 20 members this past
weekend at the Carlsbad 5k in Carlsbad, CA.  We also had
several members complete the Oceanside 70.3 Ironman and we had a
few Kona qualifiers!  There were many fast times run (swam and
biked) and a good time had by all at the post-race party at Pizza
Port.
FREE TEES!
If you haven’t ordered your free 2009 technical tee…you
should!  Login to your pro account (only the 40% account) and
it should be available.  If you haven’t seen it, look at some
of the members on the left-hand-side of the email.
BROAD STREET ANYONE?
Following Boston, our next social is at the Broad Street 10 Mile in
Philly.  If you live near Philly or plan to race, let me know
and I’ll give you the details.  This event is in the planning
stages so I should have more info soon.
AGE GROUP AWARDS

If you’re planning to run the Boston Marathon, Indy Mini Marathon,
Bloomsday, or Rock n’ Roll San Diego, let me know your estimated
time and I’ll enter you for our age-group awards.  Remember,
even if you don’t win your age-group, you can still win the
closest-to-time award.

INAUGURAL ID CAMP

If you applied to attend the I.D. Camp this June
you should have received an email saying whether or not you were
drawn in the lottery.  We have had some cancellations, and
will pull names from the waiting list to fill these spots.  My
hope is that each member will get the opportunity to spend a
weekend with us one day!
