READY…SET…GO!

Our first age-group winners are in. Our first positive media
exposures are in. We finally have men’s racing
singlets. Our first two parties, Carlsbad and Boston, are
coming soon. And, everyone’s free technical tees are
available to order! Please read the columns below because the
Inspire Daily Program is in full stride.

SHOUT-OUTS!

CATHERINE DEMET - Catherine finished 4th out of
1380 women in the World Class Stair Climb Hustle that climbs the
historic Hancock building in Chicago. Way to go,
Catherine!

DANE RAUSCHENBERG - Dane finished 10th place
overall at the USATF 50k Champs last month. Nice job,
Dane!

MICHAEL FITZGERALD - Coming off an extended knee
injury, Michael was 2nd place at The Beat Goes On 5k in Benton,
AR. We’re glad you’re back, Mike!

TARYN GIBSON - Running a 20 second PR, Taryn was the
fourth female by less than a second in a local 5k race running
17:22. Great PR, Taryn and you’ll outkick them next time!

GUY PETRUZZELLI - Guy won the Midwest Indoor
Duathlon Championship breaking the course record by over three
minutes! Fabulous effort, Guy!

JENNIFER HANLEY-PINTO - Jennifer finished 5th
overall in the Disney World Princess 1/2 Marathon in a time of
1:24:14. Nice work, Jennifer!

SHAWN DODGE - Shawn was recently awarded the Army Athlete
of the Year Award for 2008! If I’m not mistaken, the Army is
quite large and this is an impressive accomplishment, Shawn!

SAMANTHA WOOD - Samantha was 4th overall and the
2nd women at the recent Prickly Pear 50k in San Antonio, TX.
Great job, Samantha!

BRAD HOOPER - Brad is our March
Member-of-the-Month. Brad is a competitive runner,
triathlete, coach, and father of three children. You can view
Brad’s bio at www.brooksrunning.com/id (he also coached at a rival
University when I was in school).

MEN’S RACING SINGLETS

I recently screened more Men’s ID Elite Singlets and if you would
like one please email me your size and mailing address and I will
send you one. Please note, these are for members who don’t
already have the red or gold singlets.

2009 TEES ARE HERE!

Login using your 40% off account on the Pro Site, and you can order
one 2009 I.D. Tee for free. There are women’s and men’s sizes
and two styles to chose from. I look forward to seeing you
all at races and events wearing your new tees!

CARLSBAD 5K AND BOSTON MARATHON

Our fist two events of 2009 are approaching. Everyone is
invited to attend our post-race socials following the Carlsbad 5k
and Boston Marathon next month. We have reserved some tables
at Pizza Port in Carlsbad beginning at 3PM on Sunday, April 5th and
several billiard tables and bowling lanes at Kings Bowling in
Boston on Monday, April 20th at 2:30PM. Please plan to come
hang out with us and other members following these two races.

We hope to see you there!

CAMP!

If you haven’t had a chance to apply for our inaugural camp at Mt
Rainier this June, please visit
http://idcamp.questionpro.com. Remember, we lost our previous
data so if you applied prior to March 1 you need to reapply.

Also, due to space limitations camp attendees will be selected at
random, but we will make our best effort to accomodate those
individuals that aren’t selected for future camps.

AGE GROUP AWARDS

Next week the Age Group Awards for the Houston Marathon, Disney
Marathon, and 3M 1/2 Marathon will be distributed and I plan to
post the winners on the I.D. Blog. Our next eligible events
are the St. Paddy’s Dash in Seattle on Sunday, March 15th and then
the Carlsbad 5k and Boston Marathon in April. Remember, if
you plan to race any of these events, send me the race and
estimated time you plan on running and I will enter you for an Age
Group Award. The winners receive our exclusive Brooks Belt
Buckles and a Brooks Boulder Bag. Don’t miss out!

POSITIVE MEDIA EXPOSURES

16 Members have submitted forms for Positive Media Exposures
beginning on Jan 1st. Anytime you mention Brooks in a
newpaper or web article, or have your picture published wearing
Brooks gear, you are eligible to win a free Brook WRV jacket or tee
or one of several other items. Simply complete the form on
